Roadside inspections to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Benelux Union

The Euro Contrôle Route EGTC Secretariat attended a BENELUX collaboration, carrying out a large-scale inspection at several locations. These inspections were connected to the 80th anniversary of the Benelux Union. The Benelux Union between Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg was officially launched on 5 September, 1944.  During the inspections, trucks were thoroughly checked for technical compliance, adherence to driving regulations, and potential tachograph fraud. The inspections were carried out by the Human Environment and Transport Inspection Service (Netherlands), SPF Mobilité et Transports (Belgium), and Luxembourg Customs. It was a great interchange between Euro Contrôle Route EGTC and transnational authorities.
